SSP addresses students of BBK DAV College on Cyber security

SSP Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh addressed the students of BBK DAV College Amritsar on cyber crime and cyber security. He emphasised on creating awareness in the masses especially the youth regarding emerging trends of cyber crime. He spoke on various issues like Data Theft, Cyber Stalking, Hacking, Virus attack, Pornography, E-mail threat, Obscene E-mails and Credit card frauds. He also gave tips of cyber safety. The students were informed about recently set up Cyber Cell of Amritsar Police. The SSP asked the students to sensitise the community around them regarding cyber frauds.
Around one thousand students, mostly freshers, were present on this occasion. Meritorious students of various faculties were felicitated by the college on this occasion for bringing laurels to the college in the last University Examinations. Prof. Neelam Kamra, the Principal of the College addressing the students urged the freshers to maintain the traditions of the college. A number of faculty members and respectables from the society were present at this moment.
