About Me

Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh: Amritsar, Punjab, India; Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh is a police officer of 1998 batch of the premier Indian Police Service (IPS). He did M.A. in Sanskrit with specialization in Indian Philosophy from Patna University. In 2006,he completed PG Diploma in Human Resource Management from IGNOU. He has done Ph.D. on Human Rights of Prisoners from GNDU Amritsar in 2010. He completed LLB from Panjab University in 2013. He served as SSP Amritsar, SSP Ferozepur, SSP Gurdsapur and SSP Batala. He also worked as SP City Amritsar and SP City Mohali. He also worked as DIG Prisons of Amritsar Central Jail. He was promoted to the Selection Grade of IPS in January 2011 . He has also been credited to set up Cyber Crime Cell of Punjab Police in Mohali as its founder SSP. In October 2011, he was promoted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG). Presently, he is working as DIG State Cyber Cell and DIG of Ludhiana Range. He has written three books including Universal Teachings of Kabir and Cyber Laws & investigations;.
